Editing the cross-section points across a fenced dirt road
Shape every metre of road

Cross-sections

Cross-sections set the points that make up the road mesh. Change road widths, angles, randomness and the amount of "snap to terrain" in seconds, and create bumps, dips and gutters of any description.

Moving points

Move points individually or in groups within one cross-section, or select several cross-sections and change them all at once.

A line above each point gives you a quick way to move it vertically only.

Left, road, right

Tracks are made of three main sections: the road, where the driving happens, and run-off areas to the left and right.

Arrows around each selected cross-section let you quickly reshape individual sections or the whole track, without tediously selecting points first.

Joining different cross-sections

Cross-sections can have different numbers of points. Low-detail roads are ideal for side roads and areas that aren't meant for driving.

RTB joins tracks with different numbers of cross-section points seamlessly. The only limit is that, at the join, the points must line up for each of the three sections.
